Air Daegu

Low Cost Carrier
IATA: n/a
ICAO: n/a
Main hub: Daegu Airport
Country: South Korea

Founded in 2015, Air Daegu is a proposed Korean carrier to be based at Daegu Airport. The start-up planned to commence domestic scheduled services in 2017, but a 1H2018 launch is likely. It also plans to secure international flights certification and launch international operations in 2018, proposing scheduled services to Hong Kong. Subject to approval, the carrier will potentially become the one of six potential LCCs to be based in South Korea (in contention with other proposed Korean LCC start-ups - FlyYangyang, uSKY, Air Pohang [launched in Feb-2018], Aero K and Nambu Air).
