Air Armenia
About
Founded in 2003, Air Armenia was an Armenian airline based at Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport. The carrier operated both scheduled and charter cargo services to destinations in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, the CIS and Africa. Air Armenia suspended operations on 29-Oct-2014, due to financial difficulties.
The carrier planned to resume operations, after receiving approximately EUR61 million from its shareholder, East Prospect Fund. The carrier was expected to relaunch within the next two years, according to Marketing Manager Sirakan Hambardzumyan.
