Air Alderney
About
Air Alderney is a proposed scheduled carrier to be based at Alderney Airport. The carrier is founded by aviation consultant Julian Storey, and partners with Wessex Aviation to operate services to Jersey and Cherbourg with a fleet of Britten Norman Islanders. Air Alderney planned to commence in Oct-2017, after receiving its first Britten-Norman BN-2T Islander aircraft in Aug-2017, with proposed services to Lee on Solent, Jersey, Cherbourg and Shoreham. A revised launch has not been stated.
Air Alderney received an air operator's certificate (AOC) on 08-Nov-2021 and plans to launch Alderney-Shoreham charter services. States of Alderney confirmed the carrier has not yet applied for route licenses.
