About
Aigle Azur was a French airline based at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. With its fleet of Airbus A320-family aircraft, Aigle Azur operated scheduled service to domestic destinations and tourist destinations within France, Portugal and North Africa. The airline also specialised in ACMI leasing, charter service and cargo carriage.
Aigle Azur entered into receivership on 02-Sep-2019, and ceased all services from 07-Sep-2019. The Evry Commercial Tribunal resolved to liquidate the carrier on 27-Sep-2019, with all business activities ceasing from midnight on 27-Sep-2019.
