1time last operated until 02-Nov-2012 before suspending services. The LCC operated from its main bases at Johannesburg OR Tambo International and Cape Town International airports. Launched in 2004 as one of South Africa's first LCCs, 1time operated a fleet of MD80 aircraft across a domestic network linking the country's main metropolitan areas of Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London and George.
In Oct-2014, the carrier acquired by Pakistani investment group, Pak Africa Aviation. The group also launched Skywise in Mar-2015, a South African LCC based at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport. Skywise later ceased operations in Dec-2015, seeking funding from local investors to resume operations.
