Turkish Airlines Group
Originally founded in 1933, Turkish Airlines is the flag carrier of Turkey. It operates an extensive network of domestic and international passenger and cargo services alongside its subsidiary and affiliate airlines.
A member of the Star Alliance, Turkish Airlines Group is headquartered on the grounds of Atatürk International Airport and is listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange (IST: THYAO). Turkish Airlines transferred its hub operations to the new Istanbul Airport in mid-2019. The Turkish Government retains a shareholding of 49.12% in the airline group.
