About

Air China Limited is the national flag carrier of China and one of China’s major airlines. While Air China is majority owned by China National Aviation Corporation (CNAC), its remaining stock is traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK: 0753), London Stock Exchange (LSE: AIRC) and the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE: 601111). Air China headquarters is located in Beijing.

CNAC also holds majority stakes in a number of other Chinese airlines, placing Air China within a larger network of affiliated carriers that includes:

  • Dalian Airlines 
  • Air Macau
  • Beijing Airlines 
  • Shenzhen Airlines
  • Henan Airlines (through Shenzhen Airlines)
  • Kunming Airlines (through Shenzhen Airlines)

CNAC also have a number of minority stakes in carriers that include:

  • Tibet Airlines
  • Cathay Pacific 
  • Shandong Airlines Group & Shandong Airlines
  • Air China Inner Mongolia Company Limited
  • Air China Cargo
  • Cathay Dragon (via its stake in Cathay Pacific)
