About

Based in Montreal, Quebec, Air Canada is the national flag carrier of Canada. The airline operates an extensive domestic and international network from its main hubs at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, Calgary International Airport and Vancouver International Airport.

Originally founded in 1936, Air Canada is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: AC.A, AC.B) and is the parent company of several airlines based in Canada. These include:

  • Air Canada (since 1936)
  • Air Canada Jetz (since 2002)
  • Air Canada rouge (since 2013)

In 2011, Air Canada created the Air Canada Express brand under which affiliated regional carriers operate feeder services on behalf of Air Canada. These affiliated airlines include Jazz Aviation, Sky Regional Airlines, Air Georgian and Exploits Valley Air Services.
