African Airways Alliance
The African Airways Alliance is the name given to an airline group consisting of Djibouti-based Daallo Airlines and Nairobi-based Jubba Airways. Described as a 'merged entity', the group or 'alliance' is owned equally by both carriers. The group structure sees the two carriers continue to operate under their respective brands but allows for the additional benefit of pooling resources including aircraft as well as coordination of route networks.
Subsidiary carriers include:
- Daallo Airlines (100%, since Feb-2015)
- Jubba Airways (100%, since Feb-2015)
