Ente Nazionale per l'Assistenza al Volo (ENAV) is an Italian government-owned company, organised under the Italian Civil Aviation Authority. ENAV, in partnership with the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) are responsible for managing air traffic services across Italy's Flight Information Region (FIR). As part of this service, ENAV is charged with manning the air traffic control towers across the country's 39 airports and its ATC centres. ENAV is also responsible for the provision of aeronautical information services and the maintenance of air navigation infrastructure.
