TAAG Angola Airlines Update

TAAG Angola Airlines CCO William Boulter discusses the progress made so far in the airline’s turnaround plan and the changes made to TAAG’s network since the restructuring effort began in 2015. TAAG is on track to be profitable by 2019 but currently faces challenging economic conditions in its home market. The airline is therefore not looking to place any new aircraft orders or pursue additional capacity. However, TAAG is upgrading Cape Town to daily in Nov-2017 and is aiming to increase Lisbon to double daily, which would help the airline boost utilisation of its 777 fleet.
