Regional regulatory approaches, taxation and economic balance

Latin America and the Caribbean encompass 29 countries with disparate governing philosophies, economic priorities and regulatory approaches. Cooperation and coordination between these governments is essential to ensuring the region has an air travel sector that is efficient, competitive and prepared for the future. This session will consider how to push forward regulation and government approaches that recognise aviation's vital role in connecting the region and in driving collaboration and economic activity.
