It has been a challenging year for all LCCs in the Singapore market, forcing Jetstar Asia to suspend growth, increase utilisation and explore charter opportunities. Transit traffic is increasing in importance, with Jetstar Asia’s codeshare partners growing as the carrier continues to hybridise its business model.  The carrier is focused on minimising its losses by keeping costs low while pursuing ancillary revenues. Over the medium to long term Jetstar Asia plans to renew its fleet with A320neos.
