AirAsia X Australia Update
AirAsia X has mitigated the impact of a huge capacity increase in the Australia-Malaysia market by increasing transit traffic. The group is launching this year new long-haul low-cost joint ventures in Indonesia and Thailand, both of which are also expected to serve Australia. Indonesia AirAsia X is planning to serve Australia by the end of 2014 while Thai AirAsia X aims to serve Australia by early to mid 2016.
