Transcript
Rick DominguezThe United and Delta Airlines, they're the largest of the airlines that we represent. I think the main concerns at United and Delta are scope as always. This time, now that we have recovered from a lost decade of bankruptcies, they're very interested in retirement and post-retirement benefits to reclaim some of the lost benefits during the bankruptcy. I think those are the things that they ought to be watching for.
I think it should. As to whether it does or not remains to be seen. But the fact is is that the market rate for pilots has been established by the recent Spirit negotiations and we have Jet Blue that's about to conclude. So Frontier, at some point, will have to pay market rate.
It's pretty much a non-starter. We have 435 representatives in Congress. One has introduced it and nobody has cosigned it, so it's basically not going anywhere.
