Upgrades of duty free outlets at Birmingham International Airport - UPDATE

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Alpha Airports Group announced the completion of Phase I of a GBP2.5 million investment programme to upgrade duty free outlets at Birmingham International Airport.
Alpha was awarded the tax and duty free concession contract last year. The investment included the expansion of the tax and duty free area in Terminal 1 from 6,000 to 12,000 sqft. Alpha also plans to open a new duty free outlet in Terminal 2 in the Northern Spring 2006.
