Hochtief AirPort, which recently acquired a majority stake

in Budapest Airport, recently announced plans to invest EUR261 million to develop

and modernise the airport over the next five years. Among other projects, the

airport will increase its capacity by significantly developing T1 and T2, while

a unified terminal will be constructed by fusing T2A and T2B, including an Airside

Plaza connecting the transit areas of T2A and T2B. [498 words]
