skyguide cutting costs to fix revenue imbalances

Premium Analysis

European ANSPs are now cutting costs in an attempt to redress the deepening revenue imbalances caused by the decline in traffic. In late Jun-2009, skyguide, the Swiss ANSP, announced its administrative, operational and technical (AOT) union approved a proposed salary package and extension of the present Collective Labour Agreement (CLA). The new agreement allows skyguide to reduce salary costs over the next two years, relieving some of the financial pressure that the company finds itself under during the current economic crisis.
