Singapore Airlines announce October traffic

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Singapore Airlines reports total passenger numbers in Oct-05 rose 6.0% year-on-year to 1.4 million, while cargo volume increased 8.3% to 113,900 tonnes.

"US region continued to outperform other regions with [passenger] load factors growing by 6.8 ppts...The increase in systemwide cargo load factor can be mainly attributed to more freighter capacity rerouted from the US to Europe and India", Company Statement.
