Shenzhen Airport H1 net profit up 1.39 pct yr-on-yr on greater air traffic

Earnings per share stood at 0.228 yuan, against 0.225 yuan a year earlier.

The listed firm said lower investment income for the first half, which fell by 7.38 mln yuan to 0.23 mln from a year earlier, dented the company's net profit growth.

Passenger throughput reached 7.34 mln in the first six months, up 5.32 pct, while freight volume rose 6.33 pct to 252,000 tons.

Aircraft takeoff and landings totaled 71,883, up 1.82 pct from a year earlier.
