Sharjah International Airport reports passenger traffic increased 22.1% year-on-year to 5.28 million passengers in the 12 months ended Dec-08, primarily driven by Air Arabia's rapidly expanding route network. The airport also reported aircraft movements increased 18.8% year-on-year to 590,000.
