Beijing (XFN-ASIA) - Shanghai International Airport Co Ltd
(SHA 600009) booked an unaudited net profit of 834.71 mln yuan for the first
six months to June, up 12 pct from 745.67 mln achieved in the same period last
year, due to increased passenger and cargo traffic.
The company earned a core revenue of 1.50 bln yuan during the first half of the year, up from 1.41 bln yuan generated in the same period last year.
Operating profit rose 12 pct year-on-year to 959.37 mln yuan from 857.66 mln.
Earnings per share stood at 0.433 yuan, compared with 0.387 yuan a year earlier, with return-on-asset up at 7.81 pct from 7.79.
By the end of June this year, the company had total assets of 13.68 bln yuan. The company did not give a year-on-year comparison, but said its total assets as of the end of last year stood at 12.09 bln.
Net asset value per share at the end of June 2007 was 5.55 yuan, the company said, comparing it with 5.27 yuan at the end of last year.
