Shanghai airport traffic boosted by continued strength in domestic demand
Shanghai, Xiamen, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Beijing airports are enjoying very strong traffic growth rates this year - turning around the steep declines of 2008. Hong Kong and Macau however remain very depressed. But it is not all clear skies for the Mainland airports. Cargo markets and international passenger traffic remains low, which is having an impact on revenues at these airports.
