Second airport for Beijing - China to develop Low Cost Airports

CAAC Minister, Yang Yuanyuan, has confirmed Beijing would commence

construction of a second airport in the southern part of the capital in 2010.

The airport would handle domestic services only. In a major breakthrough, Mr

Yang confirmed a site had been selected, although details were not disclosed.
