Study shows American airport require USD87.4 billion of investment to keep pace with passenger deman

Airports Council International North America (ACI-NA) announced

(15-May-07) the results of a comprehensive study that shows that airports must

invest USD87.4 billion over the next four years on new airport infrastructure,

such as new runways, terminals, and gates in order to keep pace with projected

passenger and air cargo demand. This finding was included in ACI-NA's "Airport

Capital Development Costs for 2007-2011", which was unveiled at a press

briefing today.
