Singapore Changi surplus revenues down, but future promises big growth

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the operator of

Changi Airport, reported a 7.7% year-on-year fall in net revenue for FY2006/07

(ended 31 March). The still-respectable SGD367.7-million surplus (down from

the record figure of SGD398.3 million in the prior corresponding period), owed

to several factors, including the increased scale of operations and higher depreciation

costs.
