Siemens to install baggage handling system at Guatemala La Aurora International Airport

Siemens Industrial Solutions and Services Group received an
order from International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), on behalf of Dirección
General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC) of Guatemala, to install an automated
turnkey baggage handling system (BHS) and hold baggage screening with five security
levels at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City. The total order
volume is approximately EUR5 million. The project is scheduled for completion
by the end of Sep-07.
