Saudi government to provide USD1.4 billion in funding to airports

The Saudi Government plans to provide USD1.4 billion in funding for airport development this year, including projects involving capacity expansion at Jeddah’s King Abdulazziz International Airport (KAIA), modernisation works at Medina and Taif airports and other projects. The funding is part of the government’s overall plans to boost economic development and tourism in the country.
