Passenger traffic deterioration at Mumbai Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport slows

Mumbai Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport has started to see some signs of improvements in passenger traffic. Airports Authority of India (AAI) reported a 6.7% year-on-year fall in passenger traffic at Mumbai Airport in May-2009, to 2.2 million passengers. Domestic traffic fell 7.2%, to 1.5 million passengers, again outpacing international traffic, which fell 5.9% to 690,361 passengers.
