No end in sight for Ireland’s traffic downturn
The Irish Aviation Authority’s (IAA) latest traffic results indicate that the deep decline in traffic witnessed over late 2008 and through 2009 is not about to end soon. The IAA itself paints a bleak picture for the end of 2009 and early 2010, noting the recent announcement of major cost cutting programmes byseveral of its major customers, including Aer Lingus, British Airways and SAS.
