LVNL to cut costs as traffic declines

Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL) announced in Feb-2009 that the “strongly decreasing” levels of aircraft movements to and from Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport and overflights across airspace of the Netherlands will force it to “drastically” reduce costs. Aircraft movements at Amsterdam airport dropped 1.8% year-on-year in 2008.
