Jetstar - Performance “meeting expectations”; “holding up well”

Jetstar previously stated its performance is “meeting expectations” despite the industry “facing numerous challenges” in the current global economic slowdown. However, according to the airline’s new CEO, Bruce Buchanan, the airline is confident travel trends seen in recent years will continue at the same pace, citing “quite healthy” forward bookings. Jetstar stated it remains “very focused on tackling any changes in demand and booking profiles over the foreseeable and future period”.
