ILFC announces USD2.75bn note exchange offer

ILFC has followed its USD1.3 billion secured term loan announced last week by commencing a registered exchange offer for up to USD2.75 billion in two different classes of secured notes. USD1.25 billion in 8.625% Senior Notes due 2015 have been offered for any and all of its privately placed 8.625% Senior Notes due 2015.

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) signed a sale and leaseback agreement with Pegasus Airlines for four B737-800s. All aircraft are to be delivered in Apr-2011.

In leasing shares, FLY Leasing stock lost 2.5% and ALAFCO was down 1.4%. AerCap was stronger, up 2.3%
