Hyderabad Airport reports largest fall in traffic of all Metro airports
Airports Authority of India (AAI) reported another fall in total passenger numbers at Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (GHIAL) in Apr-2009, declining 20.8%, to 461,009 passengers, the largest decrease of all Metro airports. As with other Metro airports, domestic traffic fell again during the month, down 27%, to 336,563 passengers, while international traffic increased 3.2%, to 124,446 passengers.
