FMC Technologies enters agreement with Miami International Airport
(CAPA) FMC Technologies announced (13-Jun-07) that its Airport
Systems Division received a notice to proceed from Miami-Dade Board of County
Commissioners to provide maintenance and repairs on automated baggage handling
systems at Miami International Airport (MIA). The three-year contract has a
revenue value of approximately USD25 million. Additionally, the contract provides
an option to extend the term for two one-year increments, valued at approximately
USD6 million per year.
The scope of service includes the operation, maintenance and repair of the baggage handling systems and related equipment for Concourse F and the new South Terminal. This is the first maintenance contract for FMC Technologies at MIA.
