First quarter loss for Royal Jordanian
After a net loss of USD33 million in 2008, Royal Jordanian’s challengeshave continued into 2009, with the carrier reporting a loss of approximately USD12 million for the three months to 31-Mar-2009. The result is significantly worse than the USD6.2 million net loss reported for the same period last year. CEO, Samer Majali, has attributed the result to a decline in both passenger numbers and yield.
