Finnair Jan passenger load factor 66.8 pct, up 1.8 pct points yr-on-yr

HELSINKI (XFNews) - Finnair Oyj said its January passenger load factor rose by 1.8 pct points to 66.8 pct from the same month in 2005.
Finnair's total passenger traffic increased by 1.4 pct, while capacity rose by 6.6 pct.
Finnair group airlines transported a total of 657,000 passengers in January, which is 5.8 pct more than a year ago, it said.
Finnair's Tallinn-based subsidiary Aero AS, carried 61,800 passengers on routes between Helsinki and the Baltic capitals and within southern Finland.
During January, the company's Stockholm-based Flynordic operation continued to gain market share and carried 86,600 passengers, the airline said in a statement.
