Expedia to join investment grade index
Shares in online travel distributor and booking company Expedia could be used as a reference for the CDX North American Investment-Grade Index, a rolling index of 125 companies that refreshes every six months. Other companies likely to be listed include Berkshire Hathaway, Capital One Financial Corp, Pitney Bowes Inc and Tyson Foods. Index administrator Markit is due to publish a full list on 18-Mar-2011.

In trading, World Fuel Services Corp fell 5.1%, the company's sharpest decline in more than three weeks. WFS has recently finished a deal to acquire Nordic Camp Supply through a European subsidiary.
Also trading down was Amadeus, which fell 2.8%. The company announced a new distribution agreement with Air Astana this week, and also signed a contract with Rail Plus to develop rail content integration into the Amadeus Selling Platform.
