Copenhagen drags down MAp, Vienna shares drop - share wrap

Macquarie Airports (MAp) shares dived 6.1% yesterday as investors digested another weaker earnings performance by Copenhagen Airports in the wake of Sterling's failure. CEO, Kerrie Mather, stated, "the external environment remains challenging and the timing of recovery is uncertain".

Meanwhile, Vienna Airport shares fell 9.6% yesterday as Austrian Airlines announced further capacity cuts and extremely weak Jan-09 traffic.

Airport shares were lower across the board, with the exception of Malaysia Airports, which recently announced its financial restructuring plan has been approved by the government.
