Company looks to sell AOC to a banned airline

A European company in an undisclosed country - although it offers English and Russian telephone lines - has acquired an Austrian Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) it would like to sell for less than EUR350,000 (payment via escrow).

A press release title gives away the company's target: "Banned Airlines Can Legally Operate To The EU For Less Than €350.000 By Purchasing An Austrian Air Operator". But wait, there's more. The company says the AOC has the advantages of being "prestigious" and comes backed by the Austrian legal system.
