Aviation Capital Group issues USD750m in senior notes

Aviation Capital Group closed the sale of USD750 million of its 6.750% senior notes due 06-Apr-2021. Proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes. The joint bookrunning managers for the offering were BNP Paribas Securities Corp, Credit Suisse Securities and JP Morgan Securities.

In 2010, ACG issued USD600 million of Rule 144A senior notes and USD255 million of privately placed unsecured notes. Including the sale of the notes announced today, ACG has raised a total of approximately USD3.64 billion in debt financing since the beginning of 2008.

Aerolineas Argentinas finalised an agreement with ILFC to incorporate 10 B737-700 aircraft into the carrier's fleet. The aircraft are scheduled to be added between Apr-2011 and Oct-2012, under lease for a 5-year period.

Avolon ordered CFM International CFM56-5 engines for eight Airbus A320s, ordered by the leasing company in Dec-2010.

In leasing stocks, Kuwait-based ALAFCO gained 2.9% while AerCap was 2.3% higher at the close of trading.
