Airports Authority of India - Cargo volumes show signs of bottoming out, while pax remains weak
Airports Authority of India (AAI) reports total cargo volumes declined 3.6% year-on-year in Apr-2009, as domestic cargo volumes began to recover, increasing by 0.2%. Even the slight increase in domestic cargo volumes may be a sign of reaching the bottom in Dec-2008. International cargo volumes were down 5.3% year-on-year in Apr-2009. However, there are also signs of the decline in international volumes bottoming in Feb-2009.
