Air France lifts fuel surcharge by 8 eur on long-haul flights


PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Air France said it has raised its

fuel surcharge by 8 eur per ticket on long-haul flights and by 2 eur per ticket

on medium-haul flights.

The fuel charge on flights within France was raised by 1 eur per ticket, Air France said.

The increases will be scrapped "as soon as the price of a barrel of oil stabilizes below 90 usd," Air France said.

Air France is part of the Air France-KLM group.
