Air China issues profit warning as revenue growth slows “significantly”

Air China stated (15-Oct-08) it expects to report a loss for the nine months ended 30-Sep-08, due to higher fuel prices, falling demand and a “significant slowdown” in revenue growth. A deep third quarter loss is expected after Air China reported a USD181.7 million first half profit, down 20.7% year-on-year.
