Air Arabia 1Q09 earnings preview: yields under pressure but positive result still forecast

2008 was a year most airlines would rather forget (and 2009 looks like it may be worse still for many operators), but Air Arabia is set to continue its superb run of industry leading profitability into 2009, despite declining regional conditions. The carrier has forecast a "positive" and "good" earnings result for 1Q09, although it has supplied no further details. It is due to release its first quarter earnings in early May-2009.
