Malaysia Airlines consolidates network
KUALA LUMPUR (Malaysia Airlines) - In the Northern Winter 2005 pattern which takes effect from 30 October until 26 March 2006, Malaysia Airlines will consolidate its network by increasing frequencies and capacity to selected destinations while revisiting sectors that have demonstrated poor performance. Services to new destinations such as Amritsar, Cochin, Fuzhou, Guilin and Shenzen will be deferred indefinitely as part of the national airline's efforts to contain its cost growth and improve performance.
