Johannesburg Airport reports healthy traffic gains in March
As the major international and domestic gateway in South Africa, Johannesburg Oliver R Tambo International Airport has experienced a surge in activity over the past 12 months, as the CAPA Online Airport Traffic Database shows.
Overall aircraft movements increased by 5.5% in Mar 2011, capping a strong 12 months of growth.

Total passenger numbers rose 8.1% in Mar 2011 to 1,665,879. The international segment has been a strong contributor to the airport's growth over the past 12 months.
