Jet2.com performs ahead of expectations
Dart Group, parent of LCC, Jet2.com, reported a 23% year-on-year increase in revenue to GBP429 million in the 12 months to 31-Mar-08, driven by further expansion of its scheduled airline operations. Jet2.com significantly expanded its route network from 114 to 133 routes (+17% year-on-year). Profit before tax amounted to GBP11.8 million in the period, compared to a loss of GBP3.6 million in 2007. Dart Group's share price rose the most in nine years in London trade on the profit report.
