Like the Terminators, they can't be stopped. Airport Cities - some would argue the creation (invention?) of Aerotropolis guru John Kasarda of the University of North Carolina - keep on coming. This may be a response to the ever increasing imposition of demands from the environmental community; if both aviation and non-aviation jobs can be created on a grand scale that at least bestows some justification on the ethos of airport development, especially in the current economic 'climate'.
