Hainan Airlines struggling to stem the red ink in 2009
Hainan Airlines stated it expects to report a loss for 2008, due to weak demand and high fuel costs. The airline, which reported a USD95 million profit in 2007, will issue detailed 2008 financial reports in Mar-2009.
